Meet Brody – a 5-year-old, 65-pound neutered male Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix who's got the perfect blend of playful energy and chill vibes! He's a lovable goofball who enjoys outdoor adventures and cozy days in, and he's even happy to rock a costume for fun! Brody has done best with friendly, laid-back female dogs and is also content being your one-and-only pup, especially if you have a securely fenced yard for him to zoom around in. He's a gentle sweetheart with people and has been great with kids, though we recommend a home with older, dog-savvy children (8-10+) who understand how to respectfully interact with dogs. Brody is not a fan of cats.
Brody is a gentleman on leash, house-trained, and crate-trained. He's smart, food-motivated, and eager to please, thriving with structure and positive reinforcement. While he can get a little excited around assertive male dogs, he's shown great progress with calm guidance. Brody would be a wonderful match for someone experienced with intelligent working breeds like Cattle Dogs or Pitbulls. He'd love daily walks, light adventures, and perhaps some fun activities like scent work or obedience classes to keep his mind sharp and strengthen your bond. All Brody wants is a comfy bed, some toys, a loving home, and someone to adore.

Brody is currently in foster care in HOUSTON, TEXAS. He is available for transport out of state once his forever family is approved. Transports run every few weeks and he will be on the next available transport.
