Janis

Janis is a smart, affectionate Rottweiler mix puppy who loves being close to her people. Found on a porch and unclaimed, she came to Good Catch at 8 weeks old and quickly showed her playful, loyal personality. She enjoys teasing the other dogs and puppies but prefers her human above all else.

Janis has befriended a foster cat and is considered cat friendly for a home with dog-friendly, playful cats. At 9 weeks old, she weighs 17 pounds and is expected to grow to approximately 60–70 pounds. She loves treats, pig’s ears, bully sticks, the doggy pool, and water adventures.

Ideal Home

Janis would thrive with a family that can provide a large yard, enrichment, and plenty of companionship. She should not be left home alone for long hours; someone who works from home would make her especially happy. Children are welcome.

Ongoing Health

• Up to date on puppy vaccinations and prevention
• Dewormed
• Microchipped
• A veterinarian-issued CVI health certificate is completed before departure for travel

Training & Support

Janis is very smart and communicates when she needs a nighttime potty break while in her kennel. She is learning to sit for treats and is advanced for her stage of puppyhood.
