A little about them

Daisy Sue—affectionately nicknamed Dollop of Daisy—is a playful, affectionate 35-pound Pointer/Australian Cattle Dog mix. This energetic, happy-go-lucky girl loves zoomies, cuddles, tug-of-war, and spending time with canine friends. She may be shy with new people, especially men, but warms up with patience, gentle voices, and space. Once she trusts you, she becomes a devoted, cuddly companion.

Ideal Home

Daisy would thrive with:

  • A friendly, confident dog companion, strongly preferred
  • An active lifestyle with daily walks, playtime, or a securely fenced yard
  • Children age 10 or older who understand how to respect a shy dog
  • A calm home with a predictable routine

She gets along well with dogs of different sizes and enjoys matching their energy. She can be left loose in the house and is not destructive, though shoes should be kept picked up. Daisy enjoys rope toys, Benebones, Nylabones, couch lounging, and gently herding her foster brother.

Ongoing Health

Daisy is spayed and vaccinated. No medical conditions are reported.

Training & Support

Daisy is fully house trained, crate trained, and sleeps in her crate at night. She walks beautifully on leash and is not reactive to dogs, runners, or people. She has no resource-guarding issues, shares toys and treats politely, and is food motivated for training. Despite her energy, she settles nicely and can happily snooze nearby while you work.
