Thunder The Zesty Bestie

Thunder is a playful, sweet, curious, and incredibly cuddly 10-month-old puppy weighing approximately 40 pounds. Thought to be a Pit Bull/Labrador Retriever mix, he loves everyone he meets, enjoys fetch and sunbathing, and is ready to bring joy, laughter, and endless kisses to his forever home.

Ideal Home

Thunder thrives on companionship and would love a home with outdoor space for playing and exploring. He lives happily with three cats and has done well with dogs and children.

Ongoing Health

Thunder’s adoption fee includes veterinary care, DAPP with booster, Bordetella and rabies vaccines, deworming, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, heartworm testing and treatment if needed, spay/neuter, microchipping with lifetime registration, and a health certificate for travel.

Training & Support

Thunder knows sit and wait, is crate trained and potty trained, and has been a joy in his foster home. His family should be committed to continued training, socialization, routine, structure, and positive experiences. Adopters are required to continue crate training after he arrives home.

Transportation

Nationwide transport is available through a USDA-certified rescue transport system with 24/7 care, real-time journey tracking, photo updates, and adopter and foster connections. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee, subject to the $87 surcharge. Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, Washington; Buffalo, New York; or Brattleboro, Vermont.
