Meet Winnie! She's a sweet and gentle 5-year-old girl who adores being close to her people. Winnie has been patiently waiting for her forever family, and she's happiest when she can be by your side, whether that's relaxing at home or enjoying a nice walk together. Her kennel is a favorite spot for naps, providing a safe and comfortable retreat.
Winnie generally has a calm nature and good manners. She might get a little jumpy when she's especially excited, like first thing in the morning when she's happy to see you, but otherwise, she remains relaxed and calm when receiving attention. She's very attentive and observant, always watching those around her. While we're not certain if Winnie is deaf, she already responds well to hand signals and would likely do wonderfully learning more visual cues with someone dedicated to working with her.

Winnie can be a little wary around young children, but with patience, consistency, and positive experiences, she has the potential to grow more comfortable over time. At her core, she's an incredibly loving dog who wants to bond closely with her people and be a part of their everyday life.
