Buddy Love

Buddy Love is a sweet boy who was sadly abandoned at a park. Luckily, he was found by a very loving couple who nursed him back to health and actively searched for his forever home. Due to their declining health, they were unable to continue caring for Buddy, and knowing a permanent commitment was never their intention, they surrendered him to rescue. Buddy is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs, including those much smaller than himself, and has even done well with Yorkies. He's also great at meeting new people and is fantastic with children and cats! Buddy is house-trained and considers his crate his safe haven, often retreating there for some personal space.

Ideal Home

Buddy would thrive in a home where he can continue to feel safe and loved. He's a gem with other dogs and is comfortable with cats and children.

Ongoing Health

Buddy is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Buddy is fully house-trained and loves his crate. He does have a strong aversion to car rides, which we believe stems from past trauma. We are actively working on this with him, but he would not be a good fit for a family that requires frequent travel with their dog.

Application Details:

• Applications to adopt Buddy start by contacting us through Wags.
• Your application will be submitted to our adoption board for approval.
• If your application is approved, we will arrange a meet-and-greet.
• Should the meet-and-greet go well and both parties wish to proceed, we will conduct a home visit.
• Finally, we'll have you sign the adoption papers and process the adoption fee.
