About Ivy

Hi there! My name is Ivy, and I'm a beautiful 1.5-year-old female German Shepherd. I was originally purchased for an elderly person who found my energetic nature a bit much, so I was thankfully surrendered to a wonderful rescue. I'm currently loving life on a farm and dreaming of a big, safe yard where I can run, zoom, and explore to my heart's content! I'm a super active girl and would make an excellent hiking, walking, or running companion. Let's go explore the world together!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a home with teenagers or adults, as I can be a bit much for younger children. While I enjoy playing with friendly, large male dogs, I'd also be happy to be the only doggo in the household. I absolutely cannot live with cats. I need a spacious and secure environment where I can get plenty of exercise.

Ongoing Health

I am up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, and monthly preventatives, and I have been spayed.

Training & Support

I'm a young girl who is eager to learn and needs to complete a full obedience training program. This includes mastering basic commands like sit, stay, down, and come, as well as learning leash manners, place, kennel, and house manners. If you're committed to training me, I promise a lifetime of love in return!
