About Ozzward
This handsome little guy ended up on the euthanasia list at a local shelter after only a couple of days because he was absolutely terrified and too scared to walk on a leash. Thankfully, an amazing foster family stepped up just in time and saved his life with only minutes to spare. Now that he’s safe in a home, Ozzwald is thriving and showing everyone what a sweet, loving puppy he truly is.
Ozzy is estimated to be about 5 months old and currently weighs 32 pounds. He’s got the cutest puppy face, soft fur, and a goofy personality that keeps everyone smiling. He is the sweetest little soul.
Ideal Home
This sweet boy absolutely LOVES other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine companion. Having another confident pup around really helps him continue building confidence and coming out of his shell. He also loves the kids in his foster home. He can be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe his loving and silly personality shines through.
Ongoing Health
Ozzwald is up to date on his vaccinations and microchipped.
Training & Support
He is doing great with potty and kennel training, and is learning that the world is not such a scary place after all. Ozzwald is also doing well on leash and rides nicely in the car. Although he’s blossoming in foster care, it’s clear Ozzwald hasn’t had the easiest start in life. Like so many stray dogs, we suspect he may not have always been treated kindly before rescue. Because of that, he’ll need a patient and loving family committed to continuing his socialization, training, and confidence building so he can grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be.
