Ellie is a gentle, seventeen-year-old German Shepherd mix who weighs around 33 pounds. She has a quiet wisdom and a growing love for outdoor adventures, especially long walks and beach days. Ellie may have a touch of hound in her lineage, which shows in her curious nose and thoughtful pace. She can be timid when meeting new people, but with patience and gentle encouragement, she blossoms into an affectionate companion. Ellie is neutral with other dogs and enjoys calmly sharing space. She is comfortable riding in the car and knows how to sit with a hand gesture.

Ellie thrives in a calm, caring environment where kindness leads the way. She would be compatible with a patient family who can offer gentle guidance, steady structure, and plenty of time outdoors. She is sensitive to raised voices.

Ellie has begun to experience age-related changes, including some vision decline and possible hearing changes. She has a benign lump that is monitored. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
