Summer Smiles is a petite, friendly German Shepherd mix who weighs 45 pounds and is approximately 4 years old. She is a cheerful social butterfly who loves people, dogs, adventures, and relaxing with her favorite humans.
Ideal Home
Summer loves dogs of all sizes and temperaments and would enjoy a canine companion who likes playing chase and exploring. She was respectful and comfortable around a house cat, though her history living with cats is unknown. A cat sleepover can be arranged upon request.
She loves children and has connected wonderfully with a 7-year-old. Summer could enjoy a home with a backyard, and she also has the potential to thrive in an apartment or condo. She would be a fun companion for walks, hikes, park outings, and beach trips.
Ongoing Health
Summer's adoption fee includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella and rabies vaccines, deworming, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, a heartworm test and treatment if needed, spay/neuter, a microchip with lifetime registration, and a health certificate for travel.
Training & Support
Summer knows how to sit on command, walks well on leash, and is crate and potty trained. She is treat-motivated and eager to learn. Her adoption includes behavioral information from trainers, a GoodPup online training session, access to local training resources, and adopter support.

Transportation
Nationwide transport is available through a USDA-certified rescue transport system with 24/7 care, real-time journey tracking, and photo updates. Drop-off locations are available in selected states and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, Buffalo, or Brattleboro. A $87 transportation surcharge applies.
