Ideal Home
Petey would thrive in a calm, loving household. He gets along wonderfully with small dogs and cats and would be happy with friendly dogs or as your little shadow. Due to his limited hearing and vision, he would do best with older, respectful children who can give him a gentle approach. He is looking for a professional lap warmer and an expert in unconditional love.
Ongoing Health
Petey has chronic dry eye that requires daily eye drops and ointment, which costs approximately $20 per month. He has also had a dental procedure.
Training & Support
Petey is housebroken, doesn't require a crate, and rarely barks. He has impeccable houseguest manners and will politely find his bed when he's ready for a nap. Because his hearing and vision aren't what they used to be, he appreciates a cheerful "Hi, Petey!" before being approached to avoid startling him.
