Stanley

Stanley is an approximately 8-10 month old bundle of energy and affection! He arrived a bit shy, but has blossomed into a playful and spirited young dog eager to find his forever family. Stanley embodies the exuberance of youth with his speed, vocalizations when excited, and a tendency to jump when he wants to play. He can also be a bit mouthy when his excitement peaks. He absolutely adores fetch and tug-of-war, and can entertain himself, but these games are also fantastic tools for his training and will help him mature into a well-behaved adolescent. Stanley already knows a lovely "sit," which he'll happily perform for a reward like a treat or a chance to chase a ball. He's also working on his leash manners, as he can be a little feisty on walks. It seems he had limited exposure to many things early on, which is why he'll benefit greatly from consistent guidance.

Stanley is still developing his leash manners and can be jumpy and mouthy when excited. Continued training and positive reinforcement will help him grow into a fantastic companion. His love for fetch, tug, and training games can be leveraged to help him learn and succeed.
