Pepper is a sweet, approximately 3-year-old girl who has overcome a lot. Due to her past experiences, she can be selective with both people and dogs and may benefit from multiple meet-and-greets to build trust. While she's a loving companion, Pepper is dominant with other female dogs. She can get along with younger male dogs (under 1 year old) and is people-selective, needing time to warm up. Once she feels safe and secure in her forever home, she is sure to thrive! Pepper has a lot of energy and enjoys spending time in the sun and running around.

Ideal Home

Pepper would do best in a home with no children, low traffic, and a family that understands her need for space, especially when it comes to her toys, treats, and food. She needs a unique home environment that accommodates her trust issues, but we are committed to finding just the right place for her!
