Micaela

Micaela is a beautiful 2-year-old husky who has been through so much in her young life. She arrived at the shelter in pain with a fractured jaw and bleeding gums. She also tested heartworm positive and has begun slow-kill treatment. Despite her hardships, Micaela is a resilient and brave girl who is learning to trust again. She enjoys gentle touch and watches her caregivers with grateful eyes. Micaela's story is one of strength and hope, and she is now ready to find her forever home where she will be loved and cherished.

Ongoing Health

Micaela is heartworm positive and is currently undergoing slow-kill treatment. She has also had extensive dental work done, including a full cleaning and removal of damaged teeth, to address her fractured jaw.

Training & Support

Micaela is still learning to trust and heal, so a patient and understanding adopter is key. She responds well to gentle touch and is slowly opening up.
