Hello there! My name is Izzy, and I'm a delightful, young lady with a heart as big as my approximately 65-pound frame. My birthday is August 16, 2017. I've experienced a few bumps in the road, but my spirit is resilient and full of joy! I absolutely love to play and am incredibly friendly, making me a wonderful companion for both humans and other furry friends. Ideal Home

A securely fenced yard is a must for me – invisible fences don't quite do the trick! I also need a home inspection to ensure everything is just right.

Ongoing Health

I'm eligible for a wonderful Senior Dog Adoption Reimbursement Program! This program can cover up to $300 per year for qualifying wellness exams, annual vaccinations, and heartworm prevention. Just be sure to use your own veterinarian and submit your receipts.

Application Details:

• Applications begin by contacting us through Wags.
• A fenced yard is required, and we'll conduct a home inspection. We do not accept invisible fences.
• A veterinary reference for previous pet owners is needed, showing you've kept your pets up-to-date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention.
• If you don't have previous vet history, we'll ask for the purchase of 3-month heartworm prevention.
• If you rent, please provide verification from your landlord about pet policies and any restrictions or deposits.
• A meet and greet with any current pets in your household is required to ensure we're all a good match!
• Please note that we will contact your current/previous veterinarian to verify your history of providing vaccinations and heartworm prevention for your pets.

Izzy is currently located at our foster home. We can discuss transportation options with you once your adoption application is approved.
