Nelly is a Great Pyrenees puppy looking for a loving family home. GPRS works carefully to match each dog with the right forever family and provides lifelong support and advice after adoption.
Ideal Home
- Puppies are placed with a youthful, playful adult resident dog of similar size weighing at least 50 pounds.
- Puppies must live indoors as family pets, not as livestock guardians.
- Someone must be home at least part of the day; homes where the puppy would be alone for 6–8 hours at a time should not apply.
- Preference is given to applicants with Great Pyrenees experience.
- A secure, visible fence and a socialization plan are required.
- Resident pets must be current on vaccines and heartworm/flea prevention and be altered.
Ongoing Health
The $450 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, distemper/parvo vaccines, flea preventative, deworming, and a health certificate for travel.
Training & Support
GPRS provides lifelong support and advice for adopters and carefully works with fosters and applicants to find the right match.
