Oliver is an 11-month-old Great Pyrenees mix who is 100 pounds of pure happiness, enthusiasm, and a touch of clumsy charm. He came to us as a young pup with significant vision issues, but thanks to life-changing surgery and dedicated care, Oliver can now see! This experience has filled him with an even greater appreciation for the world, and he believes everyone he meets is a potential new best friend.
Ideal Home
Oliver is a social butterfly who adores people and dogs, but his overwhelming puppy enthusiasm means he cannot live with cats. He would thrive in a home with another active, playful dog who is looking for a devoted companion. A fenced yard is a must for Oliver, as he needs plenty of space to run, play, and express his joyful spirit. He would also do wonderfully in a home with children over the age of 8.
Ongoing Health
Oliver has had surgery to correct detached retinas and other serious vision issues. He is now seeing well, but his vision may not be perfect.
Training & Support
Oliver is a well-mannered house guest and travels well in the car. He is a sweet, social, and affectionate boy who lives for playtime. He's a big, teenage dog who will inevitably do big, teenage dog things, so a family ready for that energy will be a great fit.
