Ellie

Ellie is a sweet, mellow, and laid-back senior gal who is easy to love and loves attention in return. She is approximated to be around 12 years old and wears a bright smile every day, especially when enjoying the grass. Ellie once knew the comfort of a loving home, but after her owners passed away, she found herself in a kill shelter for six years. The staff there loved her and made her their mascot, but it wasn't the same as a home. When the shelter was shutting down, a rescue partner stepped in and brought Ellie to us. Since arriving, she has proven to be a real sweetheart and a people's dog who prefers the company of humans over other dogs. Ellie is cooperative and doesn't ask for much, just steady human companionship.
