Meet Camila and Regina, a bonded pair of sweet and affectionate Shih Tzu sisters looking for their forever home! Camila is one year old and weighs about 8.6 lbs, with a beautiful white coat and dark brown markings. Regina is 10 months old and around 8.2 lbs, with a similar white coat and lighter brown markings. These girls are social butterflies who love to greet people with excitement, enjoy cuddles, and thrive on attention. They walk well on a leash, are comfortable with crates, and travel nicely in the car. They also get along well with other dogs and people, and are happy to welcome visitors. Camila and Regina were found wandering together in Saltillo, Mexico, and after a veterinary evaluation, they came to us for care while waiting for their loving family.
Ideal Home
These girls would love an active family with a fenced backyard who enjoys outdoor activities. They are looking for a family with a genuine intention to rescue a dog, understanding that street animals need protection and education. Experience with dog behavior and training is a plus, or a willingness to hire a trainer. High tolerance and patience are essential, as they are not house-trained and may need an adjustment period.
Ongoing Health
Camila and Regina have received a comprehensive health protocol including spay/neuter surgery, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchipping, a 4DX test, negative heartworm test, and monthly Nexgard Spectra preventatives. They also have a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Camila and Regina are not house-trained and will require patience and consistency to learn. They may have fears and anxieties due to their past experiences, so building trust and a strong bond through understanding and a safe environment is crucial. Establishing a routine and clear boundaries will help them feel secure.

Transportation
Camila and Regina are currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. They are available for transport to the East Coast of the US on our next cross-country trip. A transport fee of $400 USD covers door-to-door delivery. Our transport partners will provide regular updates throughout the journey.
