Cleo is a gentle, affectionate 16-week-old German Shepherd puppy with a shiny black coat and warm brown streaks. She enjoys people, dogs, cuddles, playful energy, and squeaky toys. She has adjusted easily to new environments and gets along well with other dogs.
Ideal Home
Cleo would thrive with a loving family ready to continue guiding a smart, playful puppy. She enjoys being near her people and can nap in her crate, on the couch, or at your feet. She has been around dogs and children and was comfortable at a busy neighborhood dog show.
Ongoing Health
Cleo has recovered from an upper respiratory infection contracted at the shelter. She sometimes experiences car sickness, and her foster family is helping her associate car rides with positive experiences.
Training & Support
- Sleeps through the night in her crate for about six hours
- Runs into her crate when asked and settles nicely
- Knows “sit,” comes when called by name, and listens to “no”
- Is almost fully potty trained, with rare excited-play accidents
- May need reminders to chew toys instead of shoes while her adult teeth come in
