Gus is a drop-dead gorgeous ball enthusiast. He was picked up by St. Paul Animal Control, and his owner was never found. Gus isn’t a "jump-into-your-arms" kind of guy. He’s more of a slow but steady trust-building kind of guy. But give him time, some patience, and a ball, and you’ll unlock a whole new level of loyalty. Gus isn’t a starter dog – he’s more of a "hidden gem" seasoned dog owner type dog. But once you’re in his circle of trust, you’re in for life. You’ll get tail wags, silly antics, and the unmatched joy of earning the trust of a dog who really needs his person. Gus loves to go on walks but just don’t expect a calm stroll in the park – Gus walks like he’s late for a very important meeting. He’s got places to be and smells to sniff. Loyal, goofy, and a little extra – he is a special boy with a big personality.
Ideal Home
Gus would thrive in a home that understands that love takes time, but once he’s in, he’s all in. A strong leash hand and an endless supply of Chuckit balls would be a big bonus!
