Ideal Home
Sophie would thrive with another playful dog or with someone who is home often. She has calmly shared space with a senior goat and chickens and has shown little interest in livestock. Sophie and her best friend Cindy do not have to be adopted together, though keeping them side by side would be wonderful.
Training & Support
Sophie is an excellent listener who stays close and checks in while walking off leash on acreage. She is well on her way to being house-trained and happily goes potty on leash when asked. In foster care, she has not chewed, barked excessively, dug, or destroyed anything, and she enjoys a morning romp before relaxing nearby for much of the day.
