Slate is a curious, silly Treeing Walker Coonhound mix puppy whose mother was rescued while pregnant and starving at a gas station in Cement, Oklahoma. Now about 10 weeks old, Slate is making huge strides in house training and exploring the world one sniff at a time.

Slate is food motivated and quick to warm up to people, with plenty of playful energy and a love of well-earned snuggles. An adopter should be ready for the energetic, scent-driven hound years.
