About Lisa
Meet Lisa, a life-loving goofball who got a second chance! Lisa's story almost ended far too soon, but thanks to a foster stepping up, she's now safe, loved, and ready for her real happily ever after. This girl is incredibly dog-friendly and thrives with furry friends, loving the company of a confident canine buddy. While she may be a bit too excited for very young children, older kids are definitely her jam! She LOVES toys and treats and is always ready for fun. However, anything long – like sticks or long objects – sends her into a nervous retreat, suggesting a difficult past. We want the rest of her life to be full of love, patience, and kindness. This sweet survivor is looking for a family who will embrace her goofy joy, help her grow in confidence, and give her the secure home she deserves.
Ideal Home
Lisa would thrive in a home with a dog buddy and older children. A home that can offer love, patience, and kindness will be ideal for her.
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions were mentioned.
Training & Support
Lisa is 100% potty trained and crate trained (she may whine a bit at first but settles quickly). She walks well on a leash but needs a strong handler due to her enthusiasm. She is fearful of long objects due to past mistreatment. She needs a family that will help her continue to grow in confidence.
