Meet Obi! This handsome young male Labrador Retriever mix is a bundle of energy with a heart full of love to give. Obi might be a little shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he blossoms into a playful and cuddly companion. He was surrendered by his family and has been waiting for his second chance. Obi has a perpetually wagging tail and a smile that can melt anyone's heart. He loves to play fetch, especially with his favorite tennis balls, and could chase them for hours!
Ideal Home
Obi would thrive in a home with a patient and understanding family who can give him time to settle in. He's a high-energy boy who would do best with a dog sibling who can match his enthusiasm for play, as he can be a bit boisterous. Obi also shows some separation anxiety, so a tidy home is best for him to prevent any mischief while he's alone.
Ongoing Health
Obi is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. He has shown some signs of separation anxiety, but chew toys and bones have been helpful in managing this. He does great in a kennel and doesn't experience anxiety when crated.
Training & Support
Obi walks well on a leash and listens to commands. While he has some separation anxiety, chew toys and bones have been very helpful. He also did well on his cat test at the shelter and was courteous, though he hasn't lived with cats before.
