About Obi #A-140418 ๐Ÿ’œ

Meet Obi! This energetic young boy is a bundle of joy, always sporting a smile and a wagging tail. He was surrendered to us when his family could no longer care for him, and he's ready to find his forever home. Obi absolutely adores playing with other dogs, especially those who can match his enthusiasm for a good romp โ€“ he can be a bit rough-and-tumble in his play! His favorite game involves tennis balls, and he could chase them all day long.

While Obi is a social butterfly with dogs, he can take a little time to warm up to new people. Once he trusts you, he's all about playtime and cuddles. He does experience some separation anxiety, so a tidy home where he won't be tempted to get into mischief is best. Luckily, chew toys and bones have been very helpful in keeping him occupied. The good news is that Obi does wonderfully in a kennel and shows no signs of anxiety when crated. He also walks well on a leash and listens to commands, and his charming personality is sure to win anyone over. He even did well on his cat test, showing courtesy towards them, though he hasn't lived with cats before.

Ideal Home

Obi would thrive in a home with a dog sibling who can keep up with his energy. He needs a patient and understanding family who will give him time to settle in and a tidy home to prevent any mischief due to his separation anxiety.

Ongoing Health

Obi is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Obi shows some separation anxiety, and chew toys and bones have been helpful. He may need continued reinforcement for a tidy home and patience as he adjusts.
