A little about them

Honey is a sweet young lady who loves rolling in the grass, chasing squeaky toys, chewing bones, giving kisses, and snuggling. She enjoys car rides, swimming, and camping, and is learning to walk nicely on leash.

Ideal Home

Honey would thrive as the only pet in a quiet home without constant visitors. She can be cautious with newcomers and may alert with a "stranger danger" bark, but treats help win her over. She prefers that other dogs and cats give her space.

Ongoing Health

Honey was found surviving on trash in a city dump and arrived with severe flea infestation, hair loss, raw and painful skin, and a skin infection. Her skin has improved significantly with prescription food and daily Apoquel. She needs special food and Apoquel during the summer for allergies.

Training & Support

Honey is house trained, crate trained, and doing well with leash walking. She loves her crate and enjoys chewing bones and playing with toys.
