About Comet

Comet is a smooth sailing pup with a silk-like feel as he navigates into your heart and home. He has a remarkable air of calm and a sound aura. Comet had a difficult beginning, witnessing the horrific loss of some of his siblings to coyotes. Fortunately, a team of rescues intervened, bringing these pups to safety. Their parents were also rescued and are awaiting their own plans. Despite his early life experiences, Comet is incredibly mellow and sweet-natured. He transitioned from the desert to a boarding situation like a pro, handling baths with ease and being great in the car. He even charmed a family and their resident dog during a visit, acting as if he'd done it all before. Comet is currently sharing a kennel with an older dog and is quite submissive, taking their bossiness in stride. He is potty pad trained and can easily transition to outdoor training. He has not shown any destructive behaviors. These pups are truly amazing, and at just 4 months old (born 2/14/25), Comet is sure to be a gem of a dog with the right home. He has siblings who also need foster or forever homes, and we can share pictures of them and their happy placements.
