River Leigh

River Leigh is a lovely 2-year-old Mountain Cur and American Bulldog mix with a heart of gold. She came to us having lived a difficult past, essentially feral and not well-cared for. Despite the stress of a shelter environment for a dog with anxiety, River Leigh has made incredible progress with our team. She's a sweet girl who truly deserves a brighter future.

Ideal Home

River Leigh is good with most dogs and does not exhibit food aggression. While she's okay with children, she prefers older kids and can become nervous around loud, small children. A home that understands her past and can provide a calm, patient environment would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

River Leigh is fully vetted and microchipped.

Training & Support

River Leigh is still working through some anxieties stemming from her past. Continued patience, positive reinforcement, and a stable environment will help her continue to blossom.
