Meet Yeager! This tall, athletic, funny, and painfully handsome Doberman has unlimited energy and a heart full of goofy happiness. Yeager is a complex boy, but he's also obliviously joyful. He's a dog with minimal processing power and chaotic vibes, which makes him a lot of fun, but also a full-time project! He's great with female dogs and smaller to medium-sized male dogs. Yeager has also done well with cats and older children, and he's always happy, confident, and ready to go!
Ideal Home
Yeager needs an experienced, active, and consistent human or humans who won't give up when he inevitably tests every boundary. Experience with Dobermans or other working breeds is strongly preferred. If you're looking for a chill, easy dog, Yeager isn't the one, but if you're ready for a high-drive, hilarious, and incredibly rewarding project, he's your guy!
Ongoing Health
Yeager is a deep-chested breed, so awareness of this is required.
Training & Support
Yeager is potty trained but will have accidents and may mark indoors if not taken out regularly. He doesn't always understand or respect human correction and can learn patterns quickly to use them to his advantage, especially when food is involved. He rarely settles, especially around other animals, and his play can be relentless. Yeager destroys beds, feeders, and anything not built for chaos. He eats fast and is eager to sprint and jump immediately afterward. He will require someone experienced, structured, and committed to ongoing training; this is not a dog to "figure out as you go."
