CHOWDER

Chowder is a happy, fun-loving Cattle Dog/Collie mix who loves people, dogs, fetch, walks, and human attention. He is expressive, playful, inquisitive, and eager to be loved and to do what is asked of him.

Ideal Home

Chowder would thrive with an active household that enjoys high-energy activities such as off-leash running, hiking, and walks. He is not a good fit for a home with cats. An adult-only home is preferred, and he may be happier with another dog in the home.

Ongoing Health

Chowder is spayed/neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Chowder is leash trained, knows “sit,” has good recall, and does well off-leash. He is a quick learner, food-treat motivated, and plays fetch, though he is not always great at giving the ball back. Slow dog introductions are recommended, and he responds well to corrections.
