Daisy, a 5-year-old Lab mix weighing about 60lbs, and her sister Stella, a 3-year-old Goldendoodle also around 60lbs, are a bonded pair looking for a home where they can stay together forever. Their previous owner passed away, and kind friends have been caring for them and helping them find a new loving family. Daisy is described as petite and sweet. While she can be a bit excited when first meeting someone, she quickly settles into a "chill" demeanor. She walks okay on a leash but would benefit from more practice. Daisy can experience anxiety during storms and paces when this happens. She had a significant flea infestation upon arrival but has been consistently treated and is now doing very well.

Ideal Home

A home that can offer them stability and love, and understand their adjustment period. They would do well in a home with a 3-year-old child. They will need a secure fenced yard for exercise.

Ongoing Health

Both Daisy and Stella were underweight when they were rescued, but their foster family has worked diligently to help them reach a healthy weight and improve their overall health. Daisy has been treated for a past flea infestation and is now on consistent flea and tick prevention.

Training & Support

Daisy needs more practice with leash walking. She also experiences anxiety during storms. Stella is a playful dog with a puppy-like personality and would thrive in a home that can continue working on her training, confidence, and leash skills. Both dogs are crate trained and consider their crates "safe zones" where they are comfortable and will retreat to, even when their family is home. They always choose to sleep together in an extra-large crate at night.
