Hiccup

Hiccup is a sweet, affectionate young dog who loves to cuddle and is ready for his second chance. He came from a neglect case and has made wonderful progress after a broken back leg was successfully repaired. His leg has a pin, he is healing beautifully, and his prognosis is excellent for a normal, happy life.

Ideal Home

Hiccup would love to be the only dog so he can enjoy plenty of attention. He may also do well with a calm, gentle canine companion.

Ongoing Health

Hiccup weighs 11.9 pounds as of July 30, 2026. He is recovering from his repaired back leg and has an excellent prognosis. Adoption includes age-appropriate Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing, core vaccines, heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, regular deworming, neuter surgery, and a microchip.

Training & Support

Hiccup is affectionate, gentle, playful, and quiet. He gets along well with other dogs and loves cuddling.
