Meet Ryder, a one-year-old rescue mix with a heart full of adventure and a spirit for fun! Ryder is your ultimate outdoor enthusiast, whether it's swimming (he even shares his pool floatie!), hiking, camping, or just exploring new trails. He’s a pro at enjoying the great outdoors and then transitioning into a world-class napper, often in the most hilarious and dramatic positions. Ryder also loves his doggy friends and enjoys being part of the pack, piling into ATVs for fun adventures. With his people, he's affectionate, loyal, and melts for gentle pets, offering a steady and comforting companionship.

Ideal Home

Ryder would thrive with an active family that loves the outdoors and is ready for daily adventures. A backyard would be wonderful for him to gallop around in, but he's also adaptable to apartment living as long as his active lifestyle is met. He would love a confident, playful dog friend, especially a female, but he'd also be happy as your one-and-only adventure buddy. He is not a good match for cats.

Ongoing Health

Ryder is a healthy young dog. His adoption fee includes all vetting, vaccinations, deworming, flea prevention, heartworm preventative, and a microchip.

Training & Support

Ryder is a happy explorer and enjoys being part of the group. He is affectionate and warms up quickly to people.

Transporation

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page!
