Rachel is a large, beautiful Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix who has finished raising her eight puppies and is ready for a home of her own. She is gentle, sweet, affectionate and eager to connect once she feels safe.
Rachel came from a large hoarding situation and had limited socialization or experience outside the property. New people, places and routines can make her shy, but she continues to make steady progress with patient, consistent handling.
Ideal Home
Rachel does well with other dogs and is fine with cats. A confident, friendly dog could help her build confidence, though this is not required. A securely fenced yard is required, and children over 10 are recommended.
Ongoing Health
Rachel is spayed and vaccinated. No medical conditions are reported.
Training & Support
Rachel is house-trained and is still learning leash walking, household activity and how to navigate unfamiliar environments. She will benefit from calm, steady people who can give her time and consistency.
