About Dani

Meet Dani! This sweet girl is a local rescue who has overcome so much. She is a survivor of abuse, which resulted in significant injuries, including fractures to her jaw and ear. After extensive treatment and surgeries over six months, Dani has healed. While her past has left its mark, her spirit shines brighter than ever!

Dani was born with Microcephaly and also experiences severe separation anxiety and stress-induced anxiety. Despite trying various medications and consulting specialists, these anxieties persist, likely due to a brain injury from her past.

Despite her challenges, Dani is an incredibly happy and social dog who loves everyone she meets, both two-legged and four-legged! She has a good energy level, typical of a Labrador, but is not excessively active. Dani has proudly earned her CGC, TDI, and CGCA titles, showcasing her excellent temperament and training.

Ideal Home

Dani needs a home where she won't be crated, as it's not suitable for her. While she is about 90% housebroken, she can have accidents when stressed, and sometimes spins during these incidents.

Ongoing Health

Dani has a history of multiple upper and lower jaw fractures and a fracture to a bone in her left ear that affects hearing. She also has Microcephaly and experiences significant separation anxiety and stress-induced anxiety, which are managed with medication.

Training & Support

Dani has earned CGC, TDI, and CGCA titles. She may have accidents when stressed and tends to spin during them. Her anxiety will require ongoing patience and understanding.
