Meet Abbey, an adorable 8-year-old sweetheart who is looking for a quiet home where she can be someone's loyal shadow and best companion. This friendly girl loves gentle attention and enjoys relaxing in the yard. Abbey is completely potty trained, lets you know when she needs to go outside, and has been an easy, well-mannered houseguest who loves cozying up in the recliner or big bed with her favorite person. She has a great appetite, no food aggression, and a calm, moderate energy level that makes her an ideal companion for a peaceful household. While Abbey has done well with the small male dog in her foster home after a slow introduction, she would do best as the only dog in her forever home. She would thrive in a home with a patient adopter who will appreciate her affectionate, easygoing nature and give her the security she deserves.

Ongoing Health

Abbey will be spayed before adoption. All adopted dogs will receive their rabies and distemper vaccinations prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Abbey is completely potty trained and lets you know when she needs to go outside. She has been an easy, well-mannered houseguest.

• We do not place animals in homes where current pets are not up to date on vaccinations or are not spayed/neutered. Exceptions may be considered for documented medical reasons as provided by a licensed veterinarian.
• We offer a $50 adoption fee discount for seniors (65+) and veterans.
