Zac

Zac is a loyal, affectionate Anatolian Shepherd mix who enjoys playful time with dogs and relaxing beside his people. He is a loving companion with a vocal personality, moderate exercise needs, and a big heart.

Ideal Home

Zac would thrive with people who can provide companionship and avoid leaving him alone for long periods. He enjoys canine companions and has done wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. He has not lived with young children, but his foster believes he could do well with a family willing to continue working on excited jumping.

Ongoing Health

Zac previously needed FHO surgery after an untreated back-leg injury. He has healed well, needs no further medical intervention, and takes no medications.

Training & Support

• House-trained and crate-trained
• Calm and non-reactive around dogs on walks
• Respectful canine manners
• Comfortable meeting new people and increasingly comfortable riding in the car
• Enjoys toys and treats and has shown no resource guarding

• Applications start by contacting the provider through Wags.
• A phone interview, video call with the foster home, virtual home visit, and personal and veterinary reference checks are required.
• Transports run every few weeks, and Zac can travel on the next available transport once approved.
