Yeti is a fluffy, confident, low-energy 12-pound companion estimated to be around 4 years old. This Yorkie/Wirehaired Terrier/Chihuahua mix is calm, affectionate, and wonderfully easygoing.
Yeti enjoys attention, greets new people confidently, and is comfortable being handled. He lives peacefully with other dogs, though he prefers polite companionship over energetic play. He walks beautifully on leash, stays close to his person, is quiet, and would be a great fit for apartment living. He was calm and respectful around a house cat and may do best with a dog-savvy or calm feline companion.
Ideal Home
Yeti would thrive with someone looking for a gentle, uncomplicated companion who enjoys affection, snacks, and relaxed companionship. A calm, dog-savvy cat or feline companion may be a good match.
Ongoing Health
His adoption fee includes DAPP vaccination with booster, Bordetella and rabies vaccinations, deworming, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, heartworm testing and treatment if needed, neutering, microchipping with lifetime registration, and a health certificate for travel.
Training & Support
Yeti has lovely leash manners, good impulse control, and respectful food manners. He allows handling while eating and waits patiently for treats. The rescue provides behavioral information, training resources, and post-adoption support.
