Wiggles is a 2-year-old, 58-pound happy-go-lucky sweetheart with a trademark full-body wiggle, gentle kisses, a goofy smile, and a love of toys. This social, playful boy enjoys people, car rides, belly rubs, and snuggles. His breed is uncertain, with possible Pit Bull Terrier and Staffordshire Bull Terrier heritage.
Ideal Home
Wiggles would thrive with a confident, medium-energy dog who enjoys wrestling, romping, and relaxing in the sun; a female companion is preferred. He may be cautious and curious around cats and could chase them, so cat compatibility will need further evaluation. His ideal home includes a yard or an active person or family, daily exercise, walks, play sessions, mental enrichment, consistency, and positive training. He is not vocal and may adapt to an apartment with sufficient structure and activity. Older children or dog-savvy younger children are recommended.
Ongoing Health
His adoption fee includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella and rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, heartworm testing and treatment if needed, a microchip with lifetime registration, and a health certificate for travel.
Training & Support
Wiggles is house-trained and has the basics of polite leash walking, though he may pull when excited. He has participated in daycare, playgroups, behavioral assessment, and socialization activities. Adopters receive behavioral information, training resources, and access to additional training support.
