Meet Bonita, an affectionate 2-year-old Chihuahua mix with a soft, medium-length coat and a loving heart. After being surrendered when her family could no longer care for her, she is ready for a forever home. Bonita is currently fostered in Mexico and will travel to the U.S. after adoption.
Bonita loves staying close to her people, whether cuddling in a lap, relaxing beside you, or joining family adventures. She rides wonderfully in the car and makes a wonderful travel companion.
Ideal Home
Bonita is playful, energetic, affectionate, and friendly. She gets along well with dogs of all sizes, enjoys meeting new people, and is wonderful with children. She may bark at cats out of curiosity, but she is more afraid of them than anything else and has shown no aggression.
Regular opportunities to play, such as dog parks or doggy daycare, would suit her well.
Training & Support
Bonita rides wonderfully in the car and enjoys being included in family outings.
Transportation
Bonita is currently fostered in Mexico and will travel to the U.S. once adopted, with transport to Holland, Ohio.
