Boni

Boni is a 6-year-old, 77-pound spayed female Dogo Argentino/Labrador mix currently in foster care in Houston, Texas. Rescued from a Houston county shelter while at risk of euthanasia, she has blossomed into a happy, trusting, affectionate dog with an enthusiastic personality.

She is playful, smart, curious, and loves walks, adventures, toys, canine friends, and cuddling with her people. Boni has done wonderfully with both large and small dogs and would enjoy a playful canine companion, though she could also thrive as the only dog in an active home. She has not been tested with cats.

Boni is crate trained, sleeps peacefully through the night, walks well on leash overall, and has no known food or resource guarding issues. She can pull when excited and would benefit from continued leash training. She has been loving and friendly with children; supervision around very young children is recommended because of her energetic play.

Boni would love an active family who can include her in daily walks, playtime, adventures, and plenty of cuddle sessions. She forms strong bonds with her people and enjoys being close to them.

Transportation
