DALLAS

Meet Dallas! He's a sweet, fun-loving pup with a playful, medium energy level. Dallas is very treat-motivated, making him a fantastic candidate for training. While he's not yet familiar with commands, he's eager to learn with positive reinforcement and takes treats gently. He gets excited about snacks, so he would benefit from practicing a little patience when waiting for his reward. Dallas particularly enjoys playing with stuffed toys and loves to receive pets and affection from his people. If you're searching for a young dog with a spirited personality, a gentle nature, and a lot of potential, Dallas is ready to become a part of your family. He arrived at our shelter with his two littermates. Dallas recently met some social dogs and was a bit intimidated, so he's still working on building his confidence around other canines. We're hopeful that with more exposure in our playgroups, he'll soon be ready to show off his playful side.

Ideal Home

Dallas would thrive in a home that can help him continue to build his confidence. He's still learning how to interact with other dogs, so if you have a dog at home, we recommend bringing them to the shelter for a meet-and-greet to see if they become fast friends.

Transportation

Dallas is currently located at the Bradshaw Animal Shelter at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. You can visit him Tuesday-Sunday from Noon to 5:00 pm, and Wednesdays from Noon to 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis.
