Meet Blitz and Blaze, two young Great Pyrenees who have formed a sweet friendship in foster care. They play, explore, and relax together, and would bring plenty of love and fluffy fun to their forever home. They may be adopted separately, though a home for both would be especially wonderful.
Blitz is around 11 months old and was rescued after being hit by a car. His severely injured leg was amputated, but he recovered remarkably well and is an energetic, happy three-legged dog who loves to play and explore. Blaze is about eight months old, incredibly sweet, kind, playful, and still growing into his large, fluffy frame.
Ideal Home
Both boys are indoor dogs who enjoy being outside but want to spend their evenings inside with their family. They are friendly with dogs and children. Blaze and Blitz can be adopted separately, though their friendship makes adopting them together a wonderful possibility.
Ongoing Health
Blitz has three legs following an amputation after a car accident. He recovered well and being a tripod has not slowed him down.
Training & Support
Both boys are potty trained and kennel trained. They have been working on basic obedience and are doing well. Continued training will help them grow into their best selves, especially as young Great Pyrenees can be smart and stubborn.
