Zeus McGoose looks like he stepped right out of a storybook with his expressive forehead wrinkles, freckles, and those magnificent floppy ears that deserve their own fan club! This 2-year-old, approximately 28 lb charmer is believed to be a Cocker Spaniel mix, but whatever his heritage, he's a genetic jackpot. Zeus is sweet, fun, and easygoing, possessing a perfect balance of playfulness and affection. He enjoys his squeaky toys immensely, is smart and eager to please, and already knows how to sit. He is crate trained and doing very well with potty training, with accidents being rare.
Ideal Home
A home with a backyard would be ideal for Zeus, allowing him space to play with his toys and enjoy sunbathing. He has done wonderfully in a multi-dog home with smaller dogs and enjoys having playmates, but he's also content doing his own thing. While he hasn't been tested with children, he shows great potential to be a wonderful family dog for a family with older kids.
Ongoing Health
Zeus is a healthy boy. All vetting is up-to-date, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and he has been spayed/neutered.
Training & Support
Zeus is a smart cookie who is eager to please. He knows how to sit and has a gentle mouth when taking treats. He is crate trained and well on his way with potty training.

Transporation
Zeus is currently located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
