About Lucy
Meet our husky girl, Lucy Van Pelt!
Lucy is a strong, intelligent, and incredibly smart gal with a heart of gold and plenty of personality. She's a love bug who is deeply devoted to her pack, and her piercing blue eyes might look like she's judging you, but she's really just admiring you! Lucy is 4 years old and weighs 45 lbs. She is highly treat-motivated and eager to keep learning, with remarkable results already shown in obedience training. She is also house-trained and microchipped.
Ideal Home
Lucy thrives on a structured routine that includes two 45-minute walks a day alongside a 30-minute exercise session. She is great with other dogs and would do best in a work-from-home environment or in a household with other dogs to keep her company during the day. She is fantastic at pacing herself, though; during quiet hours, she happily hangs out on her bed or sits on the deck watching the squirrels.
Ongoing Health
Lucy had a skin condition that is now healing perfectly. She has been moved to healthy foods and is thriving.
Training & Support
Lucy is described as a "quick learner" who is "devoted to her pack". She has a beautifully vocal personality and will let out a howl if you're eating something delicious without sharing or if her dinner is taking too long. However, she is a polite hostess who doesn't bark at visitors. She loves working on chew toys or enjoying frozen treats.
