Meet Ryder, a one-year-old energetic and loving rescue mix with a personality as vast as his love for the outdoors! Ryder is an adventure champion, a splash specialist, and a professional "Let's Go!" dog. He wakes up every day ready for a new adventure, whether it's hiking, exploring new trails, or simply enjoying a good time. He's also a huge fan of water, happily swimming and lounging on pool floaties. After a day of excitement, Ryder transforms into a world-class napper, sleeping in the most adorable and dramatic positions. He also enjoys the company of other dogs and is a sweet, loyal companion to his people, melting for gentle pets.

Ideal Home

Ryder would thrive with an active family that enjoys the outdoors. He would love a backyard to play in, but can also adapt to apartment living as long as he gets plenty of adventure. He would enjoy a confident, playful dog friend, especially a female, but would also be happy as an only pet. Ryder is not a fan of cats.

Ongoing Health

Ryder is a healthy young dog who has been fully vetted, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and is microchipped.

Training & Support

Ryder is eager to please and is a loyal companion. With his active nature, he'll do well with continued positive reinforcement and socialization.

Transporation

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA certified transport system. Transport drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. You can track your pet's journey in real time. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
