Hi there! My name is Diamond, and I’m a beautiful gray pitbull mix. I’m a one and a half-year-old female, weighing in at a perfect 40 pounds. I have a little secret to share – I’m a tripod! I lost my front leg due to neglect from my previous owners, but don’t worry, it doesn’t slow me down one bit. I’m a gentle soul, perfect for someone looking for a well-mannered and chill companion. I absolutely love running and playing in the backyard, though I can be a bit of a puller on the leash. I’m great with children and other dogs, but I’m not sure about cats or other animals just yet as I haven’t met any in my current foster home! I’m a little timid at first, but with some baby talk and belly rubs, I’ll be your best friend in no time. I’m learning to sit and shake, and I’m so close to mastering ‘sit’! I’m very friendly and playful with other dogs, and I love to cuddle. Sometimes, I get the zoomies and become super fun and playful. Toys are my favorite – I love flipping stuffies in the air and chasing them down. My Kong with peanut butter inside is the best treat ever! I also enjoy sitting outside and sunbathing. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, and playful companion, I’m your girl!
Ideal Home
Diamond would thrive in a home where she can enjoy running and playing in the backyard. She is great with children and other dogs. Her comfort level with cats and other animals is unknown, so a home without them or willing to introduce her slowly would be best.
Ongoing Health
Diamond is spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. She is fully vetted, including microchip, rabies, and all puppy vaccinations.
Training & Support
Diamond can be a bit of a puller on the leash, so ongoing leash training will be beneficial. She is learning to "sit" and "shake," and with a little encouragement, she's a fast learner and loves to cuddle.
