Barkus Aurelius, affectionately known as Aurelio, is a charming 4-month-old Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever mix with a heart as big as his regal name suggests. He's a playful, affectionate puppy eager to find his forever kingdom. Aurelio boasts striking looks with his creamy tan coat and mesmerizing icy blue eyes, making him an instant charmer. He's a true gentleman, happiest when included in family activities, whether it's playtime or cuddle time. Aurelio thrives on routine and has shown a remarkable aptitude for learning basic commands like "lay," "stay," and "paw," especially with his favorite treats. He's making great progress with crate and potty training and is learning valuable lessons in patience and impulse control.
Ideal Home
Aurelio would thrive in a home that can provide structure, consistency, and plenty of love. He has been introduced to an older dog and is learning how to navigate canine social cues. While friendly and affectionate, he is still working on managing his excitement, so a home that can provide guidance on not jumping will be beneficial. Slow, supervised introductions are recommended for any future feline or young children in the household.

Aurelio is a healthy puppy. His adoption fee covers all necessary vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and microchipping.

Drop-off locations are available in various states, and Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Real-time tracking and photo updates are provided during transit.
