Georgie Smiles has one of the best smiles in town, and it's absolutely contagious! This happy-go-lucky pittie mix is around 6.5 years old and weighs about 45 lbs. He's a loyal companion who loves people, is always up for an adventure, and is as smart as they come. Georgie is a social butterfly who thrives on attention and will greet everyone with enthusiasm and plenty of kisses. He's great with older children, around 13 and up, and while we haven't seen him with younger kids, we believe a home with sturdy older children would be ideal given his size and enthusiastic wiggles. Georgie is dog-friendly and gets along well with other dogs, though he's more of a distinguished gentleman who prefers to observe rather than engage in boisterous play. Ultimately, Georgie would be happiest as the only fur baby, soaking up all the love and companionship.

A home with a backyard for zooming and sunbathing would be perfect for Georgie. He loves to be part of the action and would thrive in a home where his people enjoy hosting and socializing. He also enjoys a good toy collection to keep him entertained!

Georgie is a treat-motivated learner and already knows how to sit. He's house-trained and crate-trained, with excellent manners. He's even learned to run alongside a bike! He will do best with an adopter who can provide structure, leadership, and companionship.

Transportation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
