Bodhi--Gentle Soul Looking for His Zen Home

Bodhi is a calm, quiet boy looking for a home where he can be the easygoing companion he was always meant to be. He was hand-picked by a dedicated volunteer to come to a foster home where he is learning what it means to feel safe, respected, and loved. Bodhi is a laid-back, respectful gentleman. He may be reserved at first, but once he trusts you, he's the kind of dog who will quietly lean in for affection, rest his big head in your lap, and appreciate simply being near you. He's a low-energy companion who's happiest in a calm, relaxed home. At home, Bodhi is a world-class napper with intermittent bursts of play. He enjoys mellow play sessions with his toys, and he plays fetch at his own slow and steady pace. He knows basic commands like sit and shake. Bodhi is a dream on leash and not a puller, making strolls with him a serene and effortless experience. He savors fresh smells, sights, and experiences on walks. Bodhi is completely housebroken and has had just one accident in his three months in foster care. He loves going for car rides and has learned how to roll down the window himself, so child-locks are a must.

Ideal Home

Bodhi does best in a tranquil environment, so we're recommending a home without young children. He seems most confident around female dogs, especially those who are a bit sassy.

Ongoing Health

Bodhi has mild allergies, easily managed with over-the-counter meds. He also experiences occasional reverse sneezing, which his vet attributes to a combination of his anatomy and allergies. It doesn't slow him down or affect his quality of life.

Training & Support

Bodhi exhibits no resource guarding or destructive behaviors. He is a well-mannered boy.
